Minnesota Bus Roadeo

Saturday July 19, 2008 Bemidji, MN
The annual Bus Roadeo promotes safe driving through a day of competition with the best drivers rewarded for their safe driving skills. In addition to enhancing critical driving skills, this event provides important information and develops camaraderie among the drivers who are on the front lines delivering transit service.

Transportation Day at the Capitol St. Paul, MN

Each year, MPTA hosts a legislative breakfast in St. Paul to bring transit advocates together with key lawmakers. Legislators need to hear directly from people involved in transit service regarding the funding needs and policy issues confronting them. The event also allows transit advocates to join with advocates for other transportation modes to enhance their impact and send a strong message about the need to support transportation funding in Minnesota.
